Driving Directions
Directions from I-40 (from Little Rock) to Lavaca
(you will feel at times you have taken the long way but this is closer
than going all the way into Ft. Smith)

Take I-40 W heading to Fort Smith, Arkansas
Take the AR-219 exit- exit number 37- toward Ozark
Turn LEFT onto AR-219
Turn RIGHT onto US-64/W Commercial ST/AR-219
Turn LEFT onto AR-23/S 7TH ST. Continue to follow AR-23
Turn RIGHT onto AR-22
Continue through Charleston, Arkansas
Turn left on Hwy 255. Continue on to Lavaca.
Turn left on Main street (this road dead ends and you must turn right or left)
The church and then HIC building is immediately to your right.

If you are going to the hotel first take I-40 to I-540 and then head towards Fort Smith.

Take the Roger East exit (2nd exit ramp to Rogers East) The last two hotels on the list you would take the 1st exit going onto Rogers West.

All the hotels are between 15 to 25 minutes going East to Lavaca,
depending on traffic.

Hotels to First Baptist Church Lavaca:
From the north Fort Smith area:
Take Rogers Ave. (HWY 22) east through Barling, past Fort Chaffee,
and into Central City.

After traveling through Central City, turn left at the Hwy. 96 junction
(traffic light at this junction).

The HIC building and church is located on the left.
